A lot of small businesses end up locked to whoever built their site. I set things up the other way around.
01Your web address
Your domain is registered in your name, on your account. Never mine.
02Your website files
Your website’s code and files are kept in a dedicated repository, with ownership and access arranged as part of the handover. I typically use GitHub, but the setup depends on your project.
03Your hosting account
Your website runs on a hosting account you control. I usually recommend Cloudflare for smaller websites, but we’ll choose the right solution for your project.
04No hidden costs
Many small websites can run on free hosting plans. If your project needs a paid service, I’ll explain the cost before anything is activated.
05No lock-in
Your accounts are yours, so you can remove my access at any time. Final deliverables and usage rights are handed over as agreed in your quote, once payment is complete. After that, continue with anyone you like. Nothing stays locked to me.
Don’t worry: I’ll guide you through setting everything up. You won’t need to figure out the technical side yourself.
